Graham 1969: Propodeum (fig. 378) with a strong costula;panels of median area irrigularly sculptured, with some wrinkles or longitidinal carinulae; posterior part of plicae, at sides of nucha, hardly convergent. Pronotal collar long, medially nearly or quite one fifth as long as mesoscutum; collar with an abrupt edge anteriorly, sometime slightly margined in the middle. M 1.35-1.4 ST.
Metasoma 2.5-2.7 times as long as broad, slightly longer than head plus msosoma; t9 longer than its basal breadth.
Head and mesosoma bright to dark blue or greenish blue.
